I’ve decided that there are a few things I like about the Apple Watch over Fitbit. First, Apple will show you the calories you burn at rest, but doesn’t factor those into your calory-burning goal. Second, I’m apparently already well-trained, because I’ve managed to get up every hour to keep it from dinging at me. Thing I didn’t like this morning: When I put it on, it reminded me how I failed yesterday, with specifics, with an exhortation to do better. I forget how the language went but yeah, Apple, maybe don’t do that. Maybe give me a setting to have you do that *after coffee.
